Delhi Public School Tapi: School to Parent Communication on 26.10.2016

Dear Parents / Authorised Guardians

The school days from June to October 2016 were marked by many highlights on the academic and co-scholastic front. Please read about these in detail in the latest DPS Tapi Newsletter, Tapi Tarang August-September 2016. The school website, Facebook page, class blogs, etc. are full of snapshots covering the wide range and variety of co-scholastic and scholastic activity engaged in by our students over this period of time. I congratulate our achievers on all fronts for their sincere effort and efficient time management.

The Surat Inter School Karate Championship, Surat Inter School Table Tennis Championship and Surat Litfest 2016: Kavita are upcoming events to look forward to. Please keep in touch with our online communication platforms for further updates.

The remainder of the school session post Diwali Vacation promises to be equally full of daily events on the school calendar, either involving classes of a specific level, or the whole school. Annual Function and Sports Day aim at hundred percent student participation. Those who remain absent during practice sessions will find themselves unable to keep up with the expected standard of participation.

I would also like to thank our existing parents for recommending very good students for DPS Tapi Admissions 2017-18. We are satisfied with the standard of new students seeking admission as their beliefs appear to be in sync with the ethos of our DPS Tapi Learning Partnership.

Please remember that Winter Uniform should be worn by all students from the first day of school after Diwali Vacation on 15/11/16. No student in the wrong uniform will be allowed entry into school. Extra winter woolies should not be worn to school. These will be confiscated.

Students who are absent on the last day before or the first day after vacation either due to an emergency or for any other reason should be dropped to school by parents/ guardians on their first day of rejoining school. This is solely to reinforce the importance of attendance at school on first/last days of term, and not intended against any individual student/parent. Please do not enter into discussion/argument on this point with staff at the reception or on the bus.

On behalf of the management and staff of DPS Tapi, I wish all our students and learning partners a very happy and refreshing vacation, and a promising term ahead.

Dr. Sanjukta Sivakumar
